Hydraulic hose connectors
Hydraulic hose connectors, including crimped and field-attachable hose fittings, hose adapters and swivel connectors, for joining hydraulic hose to tube, ports and other hoses in steel and stainless steel.

Overview
Hydraulic hose fittings fall into two main groups. Crimped fittings are permanently attached with a crimping machine and are the usual choice for production hose assemblies. Field-attachable fittings use a separate socket and nipple that screw onto the hose, so assemblies can be made or repaired without a crimper. The connection end may seal with an O-ring, a mated angle such as the 37-degree JIC cone, or a thread. Hose adapters convert between thread types, and swivel connectors and swivel elbows allow the hose to turn at the joint to avoid twisting. Sizes run from 1/4 in to 3 in in mild steel and stainless steel.
Selecting hose connectors
Match the fitting to the hose type and size, as crimp sockets are specific to hose construction. Identify the sealing method and thread at the port or mating fitting, confirm the working pressure, and choose stainless steel where corrosion is a concern.

Frequently asked questions
Should I choose crimped or field-attachable hose fittings?
Crimped fittings suit workshop or production assembly where a crimper is available and give a compact, permanent assembly. Field-attachable fittings can be fitted with hand tools, which helps for on-site repair. Both must be matched to the hose type and size.
What should I send for a hose connector quote?
State the hose type and size (dash size or bore), crimped or field-attachable, the end connection type and thread, any angle or swivel requirement, the material, working pressure and quantity. A sample or photograph of an existing fitting helps confirm details.
