Who we are

This website is operated by EKA Synergy Group, Ambattur, Chennai 600 098, Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us"). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we are the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. What we collect

When you submit an enquiry, quote request or discovery brief, we collect the information you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, location, the details of your requirement, and any files you choose to upload, such as drawings or photographs. We also record your consent — the time it was given and the version of the notice you agreed to.

Our web server may record technical information, such as IP address and browser type, in security logs. We do not currently use analytics or advertising tools on this website.

Why we use it

We use your data only to respond to your enquiry: to review your requirement, contact you with questions, prepare a quotation and follow up on it. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing without separate consent.

How it is stored and shared

Enquiries are stored in the website's database, which runs on WordPress, and are sent by email to the EKA Synergy staff who handle enquiries. Access is limited to people who need it to respond. Our website hosting and email providers process data on our behalf as Data Processors. If we later move enquiries into a customer-relationship management system, we will update this policy.

We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond, to manage any resulting business relationship and to meet legal obligations, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner, subject to any legal requirement to retain it.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete or update it, ask us to erase it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, but we may no longer be able to respond to your enquiry. You may also nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

To exercise these rights or raise a concern, write to contact@ekasynergy.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

We use reasonable security safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access to enquiry data and uploaded files. No system is completely secure; if a personal data breach occurs, we will act as the law requires.

Children

This website is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if we add new tools or systems. The current version will always be on this page with its effective date.
