Dust control & spray
Industrial spray manifolds and headers
Industrial spray manifolds and headers distribute liquid from a supply line to a set of spray nozzles, positioning them to give even coverage for cooling, cleaning, coating, humidifying and dust suppression duties.
Overview
A spray manifold or header is the pipework that carries liquid, and sometimes compressed air, to a row or array of nozzles. Its layout sets nozzle spacing, angle and distance to the target, which together determine how evenly the spray covers a conveyor, strip, duct, tank or work area. Headers are supplied as part of complete spray systems with nozzles in stainless steel, brass or plastic; centrifugal, diaphragm or piston pumps; corrosion-resistant piping; filters or strainers; and controls such as solenoid valves, timers, pressure regulators and switches, flow sensors and PLCs. Duties include cooling, cleaning, coating, humidifying, atomising, fire protection, lubrication, agriculture and food processing.
Selecting a spray header
Consider the width or area to be covered, distance from nozzles to the target, nozzle type and spray angle, total flow and pressure, how pressure varies along the header, liquid and temperature, pipe and nozzle materials, mounting and access for cleaning, and whether sections should be switched independently.

Frequently asked questions
What should I send for a spray header design?
Send the width or area to be sprayed, the distance from the header to the target, the liquid and its temperature, required flow or application rate, available pressure, the preferred materials, mounting details and how the header is to be controlled. A sketch of the line or equipment helps set nozzle spacing.
Can you supply the pump and controls with the header?
Headers can be supplied as part of a complete spray system that includes nozzles, a pump, filtration and controls such as solenoid valves, timers, pressure regulators and PLC automation. Tell us which items you already have so the scope can be agreed.
Ready to specify industrial spray manifolds and headers?
Send the details you have — quantities, sizes, drawings or a part number. Unknowns are fine.
