Warehousing and logistics
Warehouses and distribution centres want to move goods with less manual handling and keep stored products in suitable conditions. We support feasibility, deployment and integration of mobile robots, along with humidity control and cooling.
Process challenges
Common challenges on site
- Manual, repetitive pallet and cart movement
- Mixed traffic of people, forklifts and vehicles
- Integrating automation with warehouse systems
- Keeping stored goods within suitable humidity
- Heat in large storage sheds and loading areas
Material movement
Repetitive pallet, cart and tote moves between docks, storage and dispatch are a common target for autonomous mobile robots or automated guided vehicles. Whether automation suits a site depends on payloads, routes, traffic, floor condition, network coverage and how robots will connect to existing systems, so a feasibility assessment usually comes first.
Conveyors and other handling equipment may also need automation or integration with the robots.
Storage conditions
Some stored goods are sensitive to dry or hot conditions, and large sheds can become uncomfortable for staff. Humidity control and indoor or outdoor misting may be considered, subject to an assessment of the building and the goods.
Typical use cases
- AMR feasibility assessment
- Autonomous mobile robots and AGVs
- Pallet and tow-cart movement automation
- Warehouse intralogistics and fleet-management integration
- Conveyor and material-handling automation
- Warehouse humidity control
- Indoor and outdoor mist cooling

Frequently asked questions
Can EKA Synergy share references from warehousing sites?
Verified project references are shared on request, where the customer has agreed to it. Tell us about your plant and the problem you are working on, and we will tell you what relevant experience and documentation we can make available before you commit to anything.
How do we know if AMRs suit our warehouse?
A feasibility assessment looks at what is moved, how often, the routes, floor condition, traffic, network coverage and the systems the robots must talk to. It should end with a clear view of whether automation is practical and what a pilot would involve. A qualified engineer must review safety before deployment.
Bring what you know. We’ll help structure the rest.
Share a part number, a drawing or simply the problem. Unknowns are fine — an engineer will review your enquiry.
