Oil and gas
Oil and gas facilities rely on high-pressure instrument tubing, isolation valves and accurate measurement. We supply tube fittings, valves, manifolds and hook-up assemblies, with instrumentation and fabricated skids and supports.
Process challenges
Common challenges on site
- Leak-tight high-pressure instrument connections
- Safe isolation and venting of instruments
- Corrosive process media and atmospheres
- Material traceability and documentation requirements
- Compact hook-ups and skid-mounted packages
Instrument connections under pressure
Wellhead, process and utility systems in oil and gas use small-bore instrument tubing at high pressure, often in corrosive or offshore-type atmospheres. Connection integrity, correct isolation for maintenance and safe venting are central concerns, which is why double block-and-bleed arrangements, needle valves and valve manifolds are common at instrument take-offs.
Temperature measurement needs suitable thermowells, and packaged equipment often needs fabricated skids and supports.
Specifying components
Send the design pressure and temperature, medium (including any sour or corrosive components), tube or pipe size and wall thickness, end connections, material and the documentation you require. Suitability for a specific service must be confirmed against your project specification.
Typical use cases
- High-pressure and double-ferrule tube fittings
- Needle, block and bleed valves
- Double block-and-bleed assemblies and valve manifolds
- Instrument hook-up assemblies
- Thermowells and pressure transmitters
- Fabricated skids and supports

Frequently asked questions
Can EKA Synergy share references from oil and gas sites?
Verified project references are shared on request, where the customer has agreed to it. Tell us about your plant and the problem you are working on, and we will tell you what relevant experience and documentation we can make available before you commit to anything.
What documents can I request with fittings and valves?
You can ask for material test certificates, dimensional details and test records for the items quoted. List the documents your project specification requires in the enquiry, and we will confirm which can be provided before you place an order.
Bring what you know. We’ll help structure the rest.
Share a part number, a drawing or simply the problem. Unknowns are fine — an engineer will review your enquiry.
