Textile and spinning
Spinning and weaving depend on controlled humidity, while dyeing and processing generate effluent that must be treated. We support textile units with humidification, controls, maintenance and water treatment.
Process challenges
Common challenges on site
- Low humidity causing static, fly and yarn breakage
- Holding a stable condition across large halls
- Wet surfaces from poorly controlled humidification
- Nozzle blockage from hard or untreated water
- Effluent from dyeing and processing
- Heat build-up in machine halls
Why humidity matters in textiles
Fibres and yarns behave differently as relative humidity changes. Dry air tends to increase static, fly and yarn breakage, while poorly controlled humidification can wet surfaces and machines. Spinning and weaving halls therefore usually need a humidification system sized to the hall, the heat load and the ventilation, with controls that hold a set condition.
Fine-mist systems depend on clean water and maintained nozzles, so filtration or softening is normally part of the design. Wet processing units also need effluent treatment.
What to send
Hall dimensions, machine types and heat load, ventilation arrangement, current and target temperature and humidity, water source and quality, and power availability. Existing systems can also be reviewed for servicing or spares.
Typical use cases
- Spinning and weaving humidification systems
- Humidity and temperature controllers
- High-pressure misting pumps and nozzles
- Water filtration and softening for misting systems
- Humidifier servicing, maintenance and spares
- Effluent treatment plants
- Drives and motor retrofits

Frequently asked questions
Can EKA Synergy share references from textile mill sites?
Verified project references are shared on request, where the customer has agreed to it. Tell us about your plant and the problem you are working on, and we will tell you what relevant experience and documentation we can make available before you commit to anything.
Can you service an existing humidification system?
Yes, servicing, maintenance and spare-parts support for existing humidifiers are part of the offer. Send the system type, the pumps and nozzles fitted if known, the problems you are seeing and photos of the installation, and we will advise on inspection, servicing or replacement parts.
Bring what you know. We’ll help structure the rest.
Share a part number, a drawing or simply the problem. Unknowns are fine — an engineer will review your enquiry.
