Dust control & spray
Fixed fog cannon installations
Fixed fog cannon installations mount fog or mist cannons permanently on pedestals, towers or structures to give repeatable dust coverage over a defined stockyard, hopper, loading point or boundary.

Overview
Where the dust source stays in one place, a permanently installed fog cannon gives consistent coverage without moving equipment. The cannon is fixed on a pedestal, tower or existing structure and connected to a permanent water supply, filtration and mains power, so it can run for long periods without refilling a tank. Fixed units can be set to a fixed direction or to oscillate across a sector, with manual, automatic or remote swivel and tilt. Timer, sensor and remote control allow the cannon to run only when stacking, tipping or loading is taking place. Several cannons can be linked to a common control panel to cover a larger yard.
Selecting a fixed installation
Consider the area and sector to be covered, mounting height and structure, distance from the water source, water quality and filtration, power supply, wind direction, and how the cannon should be triggered by plant operations. Model selection balances throw, water flow and fan power against the coverage actually needed.

Frequently asked questions
What do you need to plan a fixed fog cannon installation?
Send a layout showing the area to be covered and proposed mounting positions, the height and type of any supporting structure, distance to water and power connections, water quality, prevailing wind direction and how the cannon should start and stop. Photographs of the location help confirm access and clearances.
Can fixed cannons be linked to plant operations?
Fixed cannons can be controlled by timer, by sensor or remotely, and can be wired to start when a related operation such as tipping, stacking or loading begins. The exact interface depends on your existing controls, so please share how those operations are currently controlled.
