Dust control & spray
Spray system installation and commissioning
Spray system installation and commissioning covers the installation of nozzles, pipework, pumps and controls on site, followed by testing, pressure setting and handover with operator training.

Overview
Installation turns the design into a working system. Typical scope covers mounting nozzle assemblies at transfer points, chutes and other dust sources, running pipework and tubing, setting pumps, filtration and air supply, wiring control panels and sensors, and connecting to plant signals or SCADA where required. Commissioning then checks the system under operating conditions: leak and pressure tests, spray pattern and coverage checks at each point, verification of control sequences such as start with conveyor or pause for passing vehicles, and adjustment of settings. Handover includes operator training and documentation, with an option to continue into an annual maintenance contract.
Planning installation
Plan around plant shutdowns or running windows, access and permits for working at height or near moving equipment, water, air and power connection points, cable and pipe routes, and the interfaces with existing control systems. A clear split of responsibilities between site and installer, agreed in advance, helps the work run to plan and keeps commissioning on schedule.

Frequently asked questions
What does the site need to provide for installation?
Typically the site arranges access, work permits, and water, compressed-air and power connection points close to where equipment will be installed. The exact split of responsibilities, including civil works and cabling, is agreed in the proposal so both sides know what is included.
What documents can I request at handover?
You can request as-built layouts, control panel drawings, test and commissioning records, recommended spare parts lists and operation and maintenance manuals. Please list the documents your plant requires when you request a quotation so they are included in the scope.
Ready to specify spray system installation and commissioning?
Send the details you have — quantities, sizes, drawings or a part number. Unknowns are fine.
