Custom sheet-metal fabrication
Custom sheet-metal fabrication turns flat mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium sheet into parts, panels, cabinets and assemblies by laser cutting, bending, welding and powder coating, working from the customer's drawings.

Overview
Sheet-metal work starts from a drawing or sample. Blanks are profiled by CNC laser cutting, formed on CNC bending machines, joined by welding or fasteners, and finished, typically by powder coating. Keeping these steps in one workshop reduces handling between suppliers. Typical products include electric panel cabinets, metal cabinets, enclosures, brackets, modular and pressed components, and parts for ducting and machinery. Work is available as complete fabrication or as job work, where the customer supplies material or needs only one operation, such as cutting or bending.
Selecting the right sheet-metal process
The main inputs are material and thickness, part geometry and flat pattern, tolerances, quantity and finish. Bend radii, hole-to-bend distances and weld access affect manufacturability, so a short design review before release is useful. State the finish colour and specification, any hardware to be fitted, and how parts should be packed.

Frequently asked questions
What should I send for a sheet-metal quotation?
Send 2D drawings or 3D models (DXF, DWG or STEP files are convenient), the material grade and thickness, quantities and expected batch sizes, tolerances, finish and colour, and any hardware or assembly requirements. A sample can be used as a reference, but drawings give a faster and firmer price. Say whether you need complete fabrication or a single operation.
What is the difference between job work and complete fabrication?
With complete fabrication, the material is sourced and the part is carried through cutting, bending, welding and finishing. Job work suits customers who supply their own material or need only one or two operations, such as laser cutting or bending. Tell us which steps you need, and the quotation will be set out on that basis.

Send the details you have — quantities, sizes, drawings or a part number. Unknowns are fine.
