Electrical control accessories

Electrical control accessories and signal converters used in automation panels and control systems, supporting drives, PLCs, sensors and switchgear in industrial machines and process plants.

Product familyElectrical and controls

Overview

An industrial control system combines electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components to achieve a process goal. Around the main controllers and drives sit many supporting items: signal converters and isolators that adapt one signal type to another, power supplies, relays, terminals, indicators and other panel accessories. These parts are small but decide how reliably a panel works and how easy it is to maintain.

Accessories are normally selected alongside the main automation products during panel design.

Selecting control accessories

Confirm the input and output signal types for any converter, isolation requirements, supply voltage, mounting method and panel space, and environmental conditions. Standardising on accessory types across panels simplifies spares. Share the panel drawings or I/O list where available so items can be checked together.

Frequently asked questions

What do you need to quote converters or panel accessories?

Send a list of the items with the required signal types, voltages and quantities, or the panel drawings and I/O list. For converters, state the input and output signals, whether isolation is required and the supply voltage. Mounting style and any space limits in the panel are also useful.

Can accessories be supplied with the main automation products?

Yes, accessories are usually specified together with drives, PLCs and switchgear when a panel is designed, so that ratings and mounting are consistent. Supplying them as one package also makes documentation and spares easier to manage. Send the full scope so items can be reviewed together.

Ready to specify electrical control accessories?

Send the details you have — quantities, sizes, drawings or a part number. Unknowns are fine.
